Naval Engineer from the University of São Paulo – Escola Politécnica, Master's in Mechatronics Engineering with research in ultrasonic material characterization, and certified International Welding Engineer (IWE) by the IIW.
I have been working in NDT since 2010 — and as a Level 3 since 2012 — with experience in welds, castings, forgings and composite materials. Certified ASNT NDT Level III in VT, PT, MT, UT and RT, and PCN Level 3 (ISO 9712) in VT, PT, MT and UT — with PAUT qualified per SNT-TC-1A / ASME Section V and PCN Level 2 in all six methods. My NDE procedures and programs have been approved in ASME Joint Reviews, and I hold PED 2014/68/EU NDT personnel approval issued by an RTPO — CASL (an LRQA company), RTPO No. 3002.
My work is to ensure the client's NDE program functions properly: procedures that meet the code, inspectors who know what they are doing, and documentation that survives any audit.
